Story time Sunday

My life hasn't always been me surrounded by horses. It has taken years and years of dedication and hard work to get where I am today, and I hope that this can inspire anyone who has those dreams but thinks they cannot achieve them to reach for the stars and don't settle for anything less. I was a bit of a late starter and didn't start riding until 12ish years old. Then when I did eventually get my own horse it was always on agistment as my mum and I lived in town. My first job was a live in position on the property that I worked at and it was the best feeling ever to wake up and have the horses right outside. I just knew that was what I wanted in life. And I worked hard to get it! But it was all taken away from me when I had a racing accident and fractured my back so back in to town with no horses again. But at least I could go and visit them whenever I wanted. But the worst part was yet to come. I moved away to get a job and had to leave my horses and my dog behind. And for those of you that know me well that absolutely crushed me. My depression was out of control and I hated not having my furbabies with me. Eventually Mick and Deb offered for me to stay with them where I could have my dogs and keep one of my horses at their stables. Well guess what! My life only went upwards from there! It wasn't all smooth sailing but it always kept going up! If you can live a life based on your passions you will be able to live life to the absolute fullest! And don't let anyone EVER tell you that you can't achieve something! You are capable of anything if you set your heart on it!
