Saturday Safety Tips

Saturday – safety The correct way to hold a lead rope. One of the most common problems that I see is people wrapping the lead rope around their hand. This may seem like a neat and tidy way to hold the lead rope however it can be very very dangerous. If the horse spooks and takes off you run the risk that your hand can become caught up in the lead. Always make sure you fold the lead from side to side to ensure that you never get into a situation where you could be dragged by your horse.
