Safety Saturday

Horse‘s are always thinking and always learning.

We have to ensure that we are always aware of our actions so we do not unconsciously teach the horse to learn any bad behavioural habits.

You are constantly teaching them whether it’s the right thing or the wrong thing. You also have to keep in mind that the horse doesn’t have the ability to comprehend our understanding of good or bad behaviours. We have to teach them this.

This applies to both on the ground or under saddle, no matter what you are doing.

If you have any problems and are not sure if you are causing them or not please contact me so we can help you work through them 😊
