Safety Saturday

J

ewellery is a big NO NO when it comes to handling and riding horses. I know it looks lovely but it can be very dangerous. If any of your jewellery gets caught and your horse pulls away from you or you fall off and your jewellery gets caught you are going to come off second best. Necklaces and sleeper earrings are the safest to wear as they will break easily or come undone easily. Rings and solid bracelets are the most dangerous as if they get caught then it can ‘deglove’ your finger or your hand (and yes this has happened).   So please everyone make sure you and your jewellery stay safe and leave it at home when you are working with you horses.
