Some fantastic advice from the greatest in his field. In order to get better you MUST practice. There is no way you will improve without it. Treat every day as another opportunity to practice. I know that some of you are not in a position to be able to ride everyday (I’ve been in the same situation before) but it doesn’t mean that you have to stop learning and practicing. You can still read and watch videos and learn more and more about what you want to be successful in. If you want to be successful in jumping then start learning more about jumping! If you want to be successful in dressage then learn more about dressage! It is really that simple. We live in a world where all the information we want is at our fingertips with the internet. Make it a goal that every day that you are not riding that you are learning something new every day to help advance you in the direction that you want to go.
