It is important to note that any type of feed that is dusty should be wet down to prevent the horse inhaling it as they are eating. Types of feeds that should be wet down include brans, pollards etc. Inhaling feed like this can cause respiratory problems such as infections and allergies both of which can be an expensive lesson to learn.
